Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today we've got a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. And we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install these ARIES Rocker Steps. These are gonna be a set of running boards that will go great with your Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. One thing you may notice is they don't have a crazy drop in them, but if you're often off-roading like the owners of our Jeep do a lot, it'll keep 'em up and out of the way so you don't have to worry about 'em getting snagged on anything. And that's kind of where the name comes from is the Rocker Steps, is that it's gonna be about even with your rocker panels. more

Carr Hoop II Side Steps Installation - 2020 Jeep Wrangler- Video
Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look and installing the Carr Hoop II side steps on a 2020 Jeep Wrangler. Here we have them in the matte black powder coat finish, but they're also gonna be available in polished aluminum. So really if you want to custom cater the look to your Jeep, you do have those two options. One of the staples of the wranglers is the high ground clearance that they have, and that's for that off-road capabilities. And that's what we have today on our Rubicon. It's fairly tall. more

Hey guys, Kevin over at etrailer. And today I'm gonna be showing you how to install the Aries rocker steps with custom installation kit here on our 2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. This Aries rocker step gonna give you a nice three inch pad to put your foot on. So when you're getting in and out of your vehicle, it's gonna give you something nice and easy to hop up in there. Which can be especially useful whenever you get larger off-roading tires. Now when we look at this it is gonna have quite a close spacing here. more

Rampage Round Nerf Bars Installation - 2006 Jeep TJ- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Rampage Round Nerf Bars on a 2006 Wrangler. Now these are gonna be available in three different colors, we have the textured black which is a nice wrinkle black finish. We also have glossy black as well as a polished stainless version. Jeeps are fantastic for outdoor excursions, offroading and part of that really comes down to the ground clearance that they have as well as the approach angles. So with that comes a high ground clearance but also a high step into the vehicle. So for me, it's not too big of a problem to hop in without having to step up, but it is kind of awkward. more

So running boards are a pretty straightforward upgrade, many of our customers say they get them primarily for either one or two reasons. First one being, it's obviously going to help you get in and out of your Jeep a little bit easier. So you're going to have a bigger footprint here, a little bit lower to the ground. So whenever you open up your door, you have a nice wide surface, you can step on it and get in and out of your Grand Cherokee. more

Now having running boards on your Jeep is going to be really nice for two different reasons. It's going to make it easier for us to get in and out of our Jeep, but at the same time it's going to allow us to give our own style to our Jeep. Now I know a lot of people when they look at some running boards, they may think, well, this is sitting so close to the door. It's not really beneficial because we're not really gaining a whole lot having to lift your leg up that high, but that's a really nice thing about our Aries Actiontrac. more

Hi, everyone, Adam, with etrailer.com.Today, we're going to be taking a look at the Aries rocker steps, and this is going to be a custom fit for our 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.So these rocker panels are going to be a great addition to your Jeep. It's going to give you a really aggressive look and just take you away from that OEM feel.The step portion of these rockers are about three inches wide, so it makes it pretty comfortable just sitting here on the driver's seat, putting my feet on and just relaxing a little bit.As you can see here, we do have a pretty cool powder-coated finish to it. It is going to differentiate from our OEM look here. A lot of the times when you get these from the factory, all your rockers would match. But to be honest, I really do like the look and finish of this rocker.So in comparing these to the OEM steps that sometimes come with these Jeeps, we have holes here. And what that's going to do, It's going to allow that water just to seep through there, a lot of the times it's just a straight plastic piece that comes out and all that water is kind of puddle up and make it a little bit more slippery. more

Rampage RockGuard Retractable Nerf Bars Installation - 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video

Today we're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to show you how to install, the Rampage RockGuard Nerf Bars, on our 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited.Each side is going to have a release lever, and two gas struts, one on each end, that allow you to easily fold your bar up against your rocker panel, which you're going to add that protectio when you're off-roading. Then, when you're ready to use them as a nerf bar, you simply fold them down, and that allows you to easily get in and out of your vehicle.They're going to be constructed of 2" steel bars, with a black powder coat finish. It's going to resist any rust or corrosion, and it's going to add a nice, rugged look to your Jeep. Unlike some of the other ones out there, these are also going to add protection, because they're going to fold up against your rocker panels. As far as the installation goes, it's pretty straightforward. more

Rampage Slimline Round Bars Installation - 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited- Video

Today we're going to be taking a look at, I'm going to show you how to install the Rampage Slim-line Round Bars for our 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X.These are not only going to help you get in and out of your vehicle easier, but they're going to add a nice look to the vehicle itself.These bars give us two hoop steps that line up perfectly with our doors. This is going to allow us easier entrance and exits from our vehicle.Each step pad is going to be constructed of a slip-resistant plastic. It's going to be three inches wide with a treaded center for better traction when getting in and out of the vehicle during those icy, rainy and snowy conditions. The bars are going to be two inch steel bars with a dual stage, black powder coated textured finished that's not only going to resist rust or corrosion, but that textured finish is going to add a rugged look to the vehicle.Each bar is going to have a 350 pound max weight limit. Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler Unlimited, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Aries ActionTrac motorized running boards with custom installation kit and LED lights, part number AA3036571.So, here's what our steps are going to look like once we have them fully installed. They're going to have that nice rugged sleek design complimenting out Jeeps like most rock sliders do. But as you can see, that can be a little bit of a high step for some people. So, when we open our door, we're going to automatically have another step deploy out the bottom, making it much easier getting in and out. And then whenever we close the door, the step's going to automatically retract.Now, since these are going on a Jeep, you want to make sure that they're nice and durable. These are going to be made out of aluminum with a powder-coat finish, so they are going to be completely rust proof. more

Today on our 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Westin E-series Round Nerf Bars, part number 23-2975. Here's what the Westin Nerf Bars look like once they're installed on the vehicle. As you can see, they've got this nice 3" round black powder-coated tubular design, and at the ends, they're curved in towards the body, which help give it a nice, clean finish and look. They look natural on your car. They've got these nice, durable, non-slip step pads that are there to help assist when getting in and out of the vehicle safely. Here's what our running boards are going to look like once they're installed. They're going to have that nice sleek, no profile design, coming up right next to the body up here in the middle. You can see that you're still going to have plenty of wiggle room, so nothing gets smashed. They're going to have that nice, rugged texture look, and a nice grip pad here to step up on. You're going to have two hoops; you're going to have the larger one up front and the smaller one in the back for your passengers .. Giving you plenty of access to get in there, and it's going to be a nice body protector as well. The durable black powder coat is going to help against rust and corrosion as well. more

Today on this 2013 Jeep Wrangler, we'll be installing the Weston Gen-X black powder coated oval nerf bars with hoop steps, part number 20-3315. Here's what the nerf bars look like when they're installed. Now we'll go ahead and show you how we did it. We'll start by laying our bars and attachment brackets near their mounting locations. Here are the mounting locations we'll be using on the Jeep. This will also be the same for the driver's side. The hardware for the brackets will be two bolts, lock washer, and a flat washer. more

Today on our 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, we're gonna be installing the Westin Platinum Series Oval Nerf Bars, part number 21-3295. Weve gone ahead and laid out all 6 of the mounting brackets. As each of the brackets have a specific location that they must be installed. Let's go ahead and go over with each of the brackets look like for each of the 6 locations. We'll start here at the passenger side rear and you notice that this one has an angle cut to it on this piece right here. So this right here is the passenger side rear bracket. more
